M-1 Garand 30-06 Beretta / Danish contract
In the late 1950s the Beretta firearms company was awarded a contract by the Italian Government to manufacture new M1 Garand rifles for foreign military sales, specifically for the country of Denmark. The heel of the receiver is marked with the Danish “Crown/FKF/” and the left side is marked “BERETTA-ARMI/ROMA-ITALIA”. The barrel is a new U.S made criterion barrel, while the remainder of the parts are U.S. GI WWII parts . The stock has Republic of South Korea markings, making it an interesting & shoot-able collectors piece
